I will not apologize for the monster I have become. Monsters aren\u2019t born, they are forged. Forged in silence, anger and shadows. I was shaped by betrayal and sharpened by pain. I was torn apart, piece by agonizing piece. By the same world that dared to expect my obedience. My heart has been burnt into coals. And from those coals I rebuilt the very thing you all destroyed. what I built was no longer soft nor was it blunt. What I had built had edges sharp enough to slice through lies, through the pity, through the weakness they tried to shackle me with. I became something they could not understand. Something they fear, I carry that fear with me now like a second skin. They didn\u2019t just want to destroy me. They wanted me hollow, silent, erased. They wanted me to be nothing. And yet I am not, I am the proof of what happens when the breaking doesn\u2019t kill you, when the pain doesn\u2019t consume you yes, but it doesn\u2019t end you. I AM NOT ENDED I AM MADE NEW. The scars are still there, deep and brutal. Carved into my very soul. They are not pretty, they are not to be admired. They are ugly, raw, disgusting and permanent. YET I CARRY THEM LIKE ARMOUR. Each a testament to what I have endured. I HAVE NO MERCY LEFT IN ME. They stripped that from me long ago. WHEN I BEGGED FOR KINDNESS AND WAS MET WITH REALITY. There is no mercy left because there is none left in me. Sympathy I do not recognize that word anymore. IT DIED THE DAY I REALIZED, AND SO I LET GO OF SYMPATHY. The way you let go of something that no longer serves purpose to you. THE PERSON I WAS IS DEAD. The softness, the naivety, the hope all slaughtered. What remains is something they can never touch again. YET THEY DARE TO CALL ME A MONSTER AS IF THEY DID NOT FORGE ME IN THIS VERY FLAME. #onlyforthekriegers
